Forschungsinteressen

Meine Forschung befasst sich mit dem Zusammenspiel von tektonischen, klimatischen und magmatischen Prozessen sowie Schwankungen des Meeresspiegels auf Erosion und Ablagerung im Quelle-Senke-System.

Bei meiner Forschung setze ich eine Vielzahl von Instrumenten ein:

  • Feldbeobachtungen (Sedimentologie, Stratigraphie, Strukturgeologie)
  • Numerische Modellierung (petrologische thermomechanische, thermokinematische, stratigraphische Vorwärtsmodellierung)
  • Niedertemperatur-Thermochronologie
